Natural Bridge: A History Project
Brad Farr loved Natural Bridge and was an enthusiastic student of his hometown’s history. He enjoyed nearly nine decades of life-experience in the town’s jaw-dropping beauty. This made him an expert in almost every aspect of the town’s development and evolution including a warm familiarity with generations of its residents. In 2008 Brad approached his friend (and fan) Geoffrey Neil, to help him build what Brad envisioned as an online museum to preserve and pass down his hometown’s history. He wanted to publicly share some of the photos he had collected during his life by showcasing them here for anyone who might be interested. The technical task for him was no easy feat. If you ever questioned Brad’s determination, keep in mind that he regularly battled with his computer to get it to cooperate as he scanned photos, adjusted and captioned them, and delivered them to California for upload to this website. But no matter the effort, Brad enjoyed sharing his information and there’s no-doubt he knew it would be greatly appreciated someday. All the photo captions were provided by Brad and we are all sure he would want you to enjoy your visit to his special project. This website will serve as an immortal tribute to a great man who loved his town and the people in it.
